Safe-T-Steps allow the flatbed tractor trailer driver easy and safe access to the bed of the trailer. When used on the trailer it just slips into the standard trailer stake pocket. It comes complete with a Rear "Pocket Bracket" that bolts to the rear of the trailer when exposed stake pockets are not available, as many newer trailers are. The Safe-T-Step is rated to 300 pounds and weighs only 8 pounds, so it's easy to use. The unit comes complete with storage brackets, rear pocket bracket, hardware and mounting instructions. With everything included it adds only a total of 12 1/2 pounds to your rig. All Safe-T-Steps are now UNIVERSAL and will fit all standard stake pockets between 3" and 4". Safe-T-Steps for Vans or Reefers allow the tractor trailer driver easy and safe access to the bed of the trailer. When used on the trailer it just slips into the included Tail Bracket. The Tail Bracket simply bolts to the rear of the trailer, most often just beside the stop/turn/tail light. The Safe-T-Step stores convienantly on the included storage brackets. The Safe-T-Step is rated to 300 pounds and weighs less than 8 pounds, so it's easy to use. The unit comes complete with mounting brackets, storage brackets, hardware and mounting instructions. Safe-T-Steps are available in four standard colors, Safety Red, Safety Yellow, Jet Black and Silver Vein. Brackets are available for Tube Style or Flange Style trailer tails.

Safe-T-Steps for Dropdeck Trailers is a shorter version of our standard model. It's designed for single drop decks with a deck height of 38" to 40". It has all the same features as our standard Safe-T-Step - just three steps your deck.

The Helper Handle can be used with the Flatbed Safe-T-Step. When you're running an open flatbed, just slip this over your rubrail and it gives you a place to grab while you're stepping up. It's adjustable to fit most every rubrail size, and secures with the slip of one pin. Best of all it stores inside your Safe-T-Step unit, so it's always there when you need it.

The Safe-T-Step Under-Deck Storage Bracket allows you to store the Safe-T-Step unit under the bed of your trailer. It mounts in minutes without drilling, by clamping to your transverse I-beams. Keep a Safe-T-Step on each side of your flatbed with these brackets and you'll never be more than a few steps away from easy trailer access. It also works great with Safe-T-Steps for vans and reefers, especially if you often load full-to-the-doors.
